Spring Programs and Robotics Teams

2023-2024 FLL Robotics Team

The middle school robotics team Infinite Loop, hosted by MySTEM Academy, won the Champion's Award in the Western PA FIRST LEGO League Championship hosted by Aliquippa High School on 12/09/23. They competed against 60 local FLL Teams.

Using Python to create advanced proportional control and improve navigation accuracy they solved all the 2023 FLL Masterpiece season missions.

Infinite Loop's project created an innovative way to make cooking safer and more enjoyable through an augmented reality effect that alerts people when pan handles or the stove are too hot!

Congratulations, Infinite Loop!

2023-2024 FLL Robotics Team

FLL Robotics Team 412 Power Crew, hosted by MySTEM Academy, won the Second Place Champion's Award in the Western PA FIRST LEGO League Championship.

They built and coded an efficient robot capable of using mechanical aligners and advanced coding techniques to solve most of the robot game missions. They used color sensors to navigate and be precise.

412 Power Crew's project leveraged their love for artistic creations through an app that teaches young kids to draw. The app even comes with its own jingle that the judges loved!

"We are happy to have such high quality programs

for kids here in Pittsburgh. Highly recommended!"
